The pile of laundry is staring back at me. Which one of us will win? I know it needs to be me but right this second? I have other things to do. Mainly, studying my Word. My Word will give me the strength needed to face this laundry build-up that has occurred since that lovely day before Thanksgiving. And guess what, my Word actually did give me the strength!
He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his feel of poverty. ~Proverbs 28:19
You see, my land is my home. It’s my job to clean, cook, run errands, teach, kiss boo-boo’s, budget, organize, shop, support, encourage, fix things, etc…phew! I have a lot of land to work…which includes this laundry.
God blessed me with this land because He knows I can work it and work it well. He gave me the tools to do so and more, including the Word. And an added bonus is my music! That’s a huge help. I can sing, dance, and get my work done. Yes, please!! Lol.
Now, all of our land isn’t the same thing. You may go to a corporate job, work in the food industry, work with children, work outside, be a student and many other things, but work it and while working it find the joy in it. Be encouraged y’all in whatever land you are working. God is faithful. You can smile all during your work and He will bless you abundantly. Do it for Him.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. ~Colossians 3:23-24
Smile and be a blessing!
If you don’t know the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior, say this prayer:
Lord I know that you came, died on the cross and rose from the dead. I ask you to forgive me and to come live inside of me! In Jesus name. Amen!
You are saved!
